The Golden Coast Tour — Cote de Nuits
This tour takes you through the heart of Burgundy’s finest Pinot Noir vineyards and villages. You will visit the oldest winery in the village of Comblanchien where the winemaker is creating high-quality wines that satisfy even the most discerning pallets. You will then visit a domaine that produces wines that respect the terroirs of its 35 appellations, which includes 6 Grands Crus, 15 1ers Crus and 12 villages. You will end your day at one of the best known wineries in Nuits Saint Georges, which has been producing classical and high quality Burgundies since the 1930’s.

The Golden Coast Tour — Cote de Beaune
This tour takes you through the heart of Burgundy’s finest Chardonnay vineyards. You will visit a domaine which dates back to 1879, where the woman overseeing it is a 5th generation winemaker. For the last 20 years, the wines have been consistently good and excellent value for money. You will also visit a winery in Meursault, part of the “Golden Triangle” of Burgundy’s prized chardonnays. The vineyard produces some of the most emblematic appellations in village, premier cru and grand crus in the Côte de Beaune. You will visit one final winery that produces some of the most iconic pinots and chardonnays on 10 hectares of vineyards.

Prestige Tour
This tour is designed for food and wine lovers. It takes you through the heart of Burgundy’s finest vineyards and villages and allows you to taste premier and grand cru wines. You will first visit one of the best known wineries in Nuits Saint Georges, producing classical & high-quality Burgundies since the 1930’s. You will then visit a vineyard in the Côte de Beaune to enjoy a private tasting of village & premier cru pinots and chardonnays in a winery closed to the public. Next you will visit a vineyard in Meursault that has been family-run since 1954 and producing some of the most emblematic appellations in village, premier cru & grand crus in the Côte de Beaune.

Grand Maisons
This tour is designed for food and wine lovers. It takes you through the heart of Burgundy’s finest vineyards and villages and allows you to taste premier and grand cru wines at some of Burgundy’s most famous wine “negotiant” houses. You will then visit the oldest and one of the most beautiful wineries where you will taste premier cru and grand cru wines from appellations such as Corton and Echézeaux. You will taste at one of the most iconic and prestigious family-owned wine houses in Beaune that encompasses some of the most prestigious “climats” (vineyards) in Burgundy. Lastly visit & taste at the oldest cellars in Beaune.

Gourmet Market tour & Vineyard Picnic
(Dijon market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays or Beaune market on Saturdays)
Stroll around the stalls laden with local produce, cheeses, meats, pâtés, bread, olives, fruits and many other delicacies from Burgundy. Prepare for your vineyard picnic with your guide by selecting the products you wish to eat.

 

Private Mustard Creation Workshop
Visit the last independent mustard mill in the Burgundy region to learn how this family-owned company (since 1840) has maintained its expertise by using traditional methods, such as grinding seeds with a stone millstone. Learn about the company’s history, see how they make their prized mustard, make your own version of the condiment, and enjoy a tasting of the company’s extensive mustard flavors!

 

Wine Barrel Making
Enjoy a fun introduction into the ancient craft of wine-barrel making! Learn about the different wood options, the techniques used to prepare the staves, and the importance of oak barrels in the wine aging process.

 

Truffle Hunt and Wine Day
Learn all about truffles, how they grow and how you find them.  The first part of the experience involves understand what a truffle is, then how a truffle dogs works (in their garden forest) and finally a beautiful lunch where the truffle is honored in each dish!

Wine tasting at a beautiful winery to wash down the truffles. Taste village, premier and a grand cru wine. The tasting will include both Pinots (primarily) and Chardonnays.

 

Private Visit to a Premier Creme de Cassis Tasting
Visit a family of farmers that has grown blackcurrants for 7 generations. In their renovated farmhouse, they create a variety of cassis products including mustards, ketchup, syrups, and of course, creme de cassis. In fact, this family produces the liqueur for a well-known American kitchen store! Taste traditional kier and kier royale made with their special liqueur as well as sip on their reserve version (they only produce 250-300 bottles a year!). 

 

Private Cooking Class
A true hands-on cooking class with a farmer’s market and artisan tour on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You will shop with your chef to get the freshest seasonal products for your class. Then you will be back to the chef’s kitchen to cook an entire and authentic gastronomic Burgundian and French menu with 4 different courses (includes 5 to 6 different recipes). On non-market days, you will start your class at the chef’s kitchen. After the cooking time, you will enjoy the meal you made while the chef serves some of her favorite Burgundian wines. The chef will also give an overview of wines from Burgundy as well as teach you how to pair food and wine properly.

 

Burgundy by Hot Air Balloon
A unique chance to see Burgundy, its famous vineyards and picture-postcard villages from the sky. This is a “hands-on” experience where you are invited to help set-up the hot air ballon as well as put it away at the end of the flight. Start or finish your flight with a grand cru picnic in the vineyards!
Note: Lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and depends completely on the weather conditions.

 

Bike Around the Vineyards
Cycle with your guide through beautiful villages and vineyards and learn about the region’s unique geography and geology. This is followed by a wine-tasting stop at a winery.
